Hello Everyone!
My name is Mary Goodwin. I am a 4th grade teacher at Live Oak Elementary. I have been an educator for over 18 years. I received a Computer Science Degree from Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC. I have taught grades PreK-5th in both the private and public school settings. I bring years of experience from the Sunshine State and the Peach State!
I enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education. I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect. An education should empower a child and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world. My husband and I have a daughter Morgan. Covington, Georgia has been our home town for the past ten years. I enjoy shopping and traveling. During the summer I spend my free-time traveling, shopping and spending time with family.
